Being freelancer is basically having a sense of freedom the advantage of being a freelancer is your own boss, you can see earnings rise dramatically some of the disadvantages are that you will not get paid for being sick leave or holidays or if your work drops off an example freelance workers are its consultants on a freelance basis is unstoppable.

Advantage

Advantages of working as a freelancer is the freedom it gives you, your able to travel and spend more time on a project. . At a magazine company many features are assigned to freelance writers since full-time editors don’t have time to spend outside the office. there flexible hours , you can work the most productive hours and you dont have to fall in to regular business hours.

Disadvantage

Disadvantage of working as a freelancer is that it doesn’t offer any security and they don’t receive any health coverage. The types of freelancer jobs in media would be:

In Editing they look for an applicant that is willing to work hard, excellent attention to detail, strong writing skills and an objective eye. What they do is that they select polish and refine.  What’s included in a particular publication television series.

Journalism

What they look for in a journalist is that they needed is great written communication skills to produce quality copy.  They also look for listening skills to pick out nuances  of the story also investigative skills to find a new stories
