Task 1B
 Britain’s Teenage drug runners.
The documentary is about how members are using teenage drug runners to sell large amounts of crack and heroin miles away from home. As more gangs are moving to the countryside, the competition, rivalries and violence has increased. Police, youth workers and the government are all trying to tackle this problem.
The purpose of the documentary is to let young people i.e. kids between the ages of 12 and 13 know the dangers of selling drugs and the platform is on the BBC iPlayer. The target audience are for kids and adults. Senior gang member don’t just choose anyone to go to the countryside they often need a workforce that’s easily controlled so it often children as young as 12 transporting and selling drugs to urban gangs.
Techniques
The techniques that are used are silent interview to allow the interviewee tell their story about why they do drug dealing. They also used observational techniques to observe how they make the drug and what they make out it which is money and what the government is trying to do to stop it . they did close ups of the of the people they interviewed this is so the audience can get a real close up of what it is they do .
Format 
It’s on off about how and why senior gang members get young people as young as 12 in to drug dealing.


The Britain’s teenage drug runners are subjective because their expressing their opinions and their personal feelings. There is a reporter that narrates the whole documentary. There is a mode of address because there is a sense of directness between the addresser and the addressees.
