What is portfolio?
A portfolio is when you need to showcase your work and to help to demonstrate yur skills to prospective employers. Portfolios can come in many forms a notebook filled with notes documents and graphics to online digital archives. A portfolio can be a physical collection of a students work like written assignments or photographs.
What is show-reel?
Show-reel is a short videotape containing example of an actor’s or directors work for showing to potential employers. A show-reel typically supplements an artists resume and is used to promote the artists skill.
Pros and cons of C.V
Pros : they help employers to sum up applicants and choose between people from what they have written about themselves . it has the advantage of being styled and presented in the way you choose.
Cons : the person could of lied in their CV . it may not always contain all the key aspects relevant to the job that you are applying for you may need to rewrite it so as to fit the job in question and continually modifying it so that you portray a fuller picture of yourself.
Showcasing work: 
means putting your work on display to show the best advantage
